Yacht party!

Yacht party!

It was the first time I joined a yacht party and I loved it. Thanks to the boyfriend who had a voucher from American Express Singapore! We invited some of our close friends to join the party from afternoon until late evening. We ate, we drank, we got drunk, we got wet and we laughed. That all we needed to get away from a busy, stressful life for a while.

So we headed down Marina Keppel Bay in a beautiful afternoon with food, beer, alcohol, music, bikini.
Arrived the destination after 20 minutes

Beautiful sky and scenery, can't ask for more

While waiting for the yacht to get ready, we quickly took some photos

I felt like I'm in Monaco now.

Walking to our yacht...Can't wait to see how it looks

There you go, our dear friend of the day!

Interior! You just gotta love it!

Small kitchen but very clean and tidy! Request anything you want.

Beautiful bedroom!
I and my little friend, Jasmin. She likes taking photos with me :D

This space is mine!

Hamid wanted to copy my pose, but he looked like he was suffered from lower back pain, lolz

Get ready and go! The boys

The girls

Strong wave behind us

Cuteness!
I just so adore her. Small, sweet yet very brave.

Keep calm and stay balance!

Beautiful sunset

We just stopped there to have dinner and drinks. Yummy lamb all the way from Perth to Singapore and to our stomach :D

Baby Jasmin with her stone ball, lolz.

Couldn't remember what I was doing here that made everyone pull out of their camera and snap a photos, but we sure had fun.

That ended our yacht party trip.
Ok, off to bed, hope I won't get sick tomorrow

To the best mom on earth

To the best mom on earth

Hi dolls,

I'm back again after a long holiday! Guess where I went? Vietnam again, lolz....

The photos about my Chinese new year trip in Vietnam I still haven't had time to upload yet, now here comes another one. There are so many places I haven't explored yet in Vietnam and I want to visit to all places. And this was the most ad-hoc trip ever because I didn't plan for it at all. I had 4 days holiday last week and I felt like I need a break from everything: work, relationship, busy life, etc...and I must find a place where I can de-stress myself. After thinking about many options: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia....I decided to go to Vietnam in the end. And hell ya, I was so damn lucky to book the flight ticket at only S$451 net. Booking on Wednesday, flying off on Friday, lolz...Did I ever tell you that I'm always the "last minute" person? Yes I am! Sorry, can't help!

Back to the main topic, I wanted to write this entry to dedicate to the best mommy in the world (to me) since Mother's Day is just around the corner. Just a short one!

Introducing to you, my cute, sweet mommy:

She is not staying with me now, she is about 2196km away from me and all I can do is to celebrate with her over the phone or through my blog only -_-

Last year, I bought some gifts for her. 2 years ago, I wrote a story about her life on my blog. This year, not decided yet.

She is my mom but also like my best friend, my sister. I can talk to her everything: quarreling with boyfriend, having bad day at work, late period, feeling nervous, excited, worry, how many times I have sex in a week bla bla bla...She just listens, laughs, worries, scolds and advises me. Most importantly, she is always making me laugh when I'm down. She protects me and my brother from anyone who wants to harm us.

I'm so proud of my mom. I bring many friends back home and all of them love her because they find she is sweet, friendly and so cute, lolz...

This is what I meant "CUTE"!

Trying to strike a pose for me to take picture. I don't know where the hell she gets this pose from but everytime she does it, I and my dad just couldn't stop laughing.

Lynn (my new BFF) and my mom! She was the one started this pose first and asked Lynn to follow.

Lynn just met my mom for 1 day only. They look like mother- daughter while I'm like a strange photographer on the street who wants to take their photo for $5 fee.

No other word besides sweetness ~

If I had 1 wish, I just wish she and my dad could stay young forever with me. It's just so painful to think she is getting older and older when time flies. My heart breaks every time I know that she is sick :(
Wish you will be happy every day, Mom! You know, I love you always!

Have you done anything to show your Love to your mom yet? Do it now! Without her, you wouldn't have chance to see the world, to grow up, to be successful like you are today. Treat your mom like how you want your children treat you in return. Just get your ass up and do something even small and simple to her. At the end, your thought that counts

And lastly, say "Happy Mother's Day" !!!

Whitening mask

Whitening mask

How you girls usually take care of your face? I know every girl uses facial wash everyday. Don't tell me you don't wash your face. So, besides facial foam, cleanser, moisturizer, what else do you do?

I used to have a dry, pimply face when I was 16, 17 years old (blame the stupid puberty) and I didn't even think it's a problem at all. Hence, I didn't care much about it. After I started dancing, i started to learn how to put on make up because I couldn't go to perform with a pale face. And you know that make-up for dancing performances, competition is kinda hardcore one. Everything needs to be ultra dark, ultra heavy yet 100% water proof. If you ever see some of my dance photos I posted up, you'll probably know how it looks like. And because of the heavy make up, it makes my skin dry up even faster, more damaging if I don't seriously take care of it. I then began learning how to maintain my youthful skin. Will share with you more in details in the next post, now it's a quick one

Once a week, mostly on Sunday, I will spend time on "feeding" my skin. So troublesome! I seriously force myself so hard to make it as a habit regardless how busy I am. I've just done my:

Whitening facial mask!
(The most real-time blog entry of all time, lolz)

The mask was kept in the fridge. So damn cold on my face but it's super cool and relaxing. I can just lie down and sleep if only there would be somebody to wash my facial later, lolz.

Close up! I used a brush to apply the mask on, that's why you can see it's so even every parts. My eyebrows are enjoying it too :D

Now, can camwhore as long as I wish while waiting for the mask to dry and absorb into my skin.

Want to know what is the result?

Here you go!
*tadah*

Awesome flawless skin and super duper smooth. My god! I'm in love with my skin, so nice to touch :D. Nevertheless, this is not the final result that I wanted yet as you can see, the pores are still quite big, I need to do few more rounds to tighten up the pores and remove all the stupid blackheads out :(

That's me! Without any make up on!

My messy beauty corner, lolz!

Tell me any girl or guy doesn't want to have good skin? Go and get your mask done, at least once a week for God's sake. There is nothing worse that kissing on a pimply, oily and rough face :D Don't let people have a nightmare after kissing you. Good luck!

White collar boxing is fun

White collar boxing is fun

Yesterday, I and Keef were invited to attend a annual event "White Collar Boxing" organized by IFS as one of the event co-sponsors.

It was my first time ever watching LIVE boxing. I used to hate boxing, same goes with muay thai or whatsoever sport is related to fighting. There is no fun watching 2 people fighting with blood all over their faces and the audiences are supposed to stop them, they clap hands to cheer the fighters up. It's just silly.

That what I used to think too. But when I attended the White Collar Boxing event last Saturday, it was totally out of my imagination. Nevertheless, it's pretty fun, exciting to watch...Both men and women in white collar professions are trained to fight at special event and they have no experience of boxing before. This event was organized for fund raising purpose to support Children's Surgical Centre in Cambodia. A week ago, it was a party organized at Se7en1nch and they raised $160, xxx so far....What's a meaningful event!

I didn't take lot of photos because I was busy watching and the event was so grand until I felt shy if I kept taking photo of myself, my skin is still not thick enough tho'. So here is just a quickie post..

A magazine was placed on our table with the fights schedule. There were 8 bouts in total, 2 bouts for women and 6 bouts for men

Look at what I found here! Se7en1nch full page on the first page of the mag. Proud to be one of the sponsors! :D

A glimpse at the fighters!

There are 16 of them in total, I just took few photos for you all to see, make your saliva come out. They are hell sexy and hot, my God! I feel like registering my name for the next year White Collar Boxing already. By then, I will be listed in "Super light weight" category and have no competitor, I will win trophy for sure. hahahahaha!!!!

Introduction time, fighters but walking like models on the catwalk, lolz.

Presenting on the stage

and get ready for the bout

MC of the night. He is a real professional MC and totally entertaining. Hate him, why never share some talents to me? I also want to be an MC -_-

The best thing of the night: While watching them fighting, we were served foods. Delicious foods!

and drink.

All of sudden, among those nice, clear photos taken by a professional camera, there is a blur photo of me.
Taken by my iPhone before heading to town. Behind me is a half and even blurrier photo of Keef, lolz.

That's all for this post. Wait til next year if I attend White Collar Boxing event, I'll announce.
I think, I will create a new name for this sport "White Collar Boxance" means Boxing + Dance. Imagine, I do boxing by using dancing technique? I'm gonna win for sure. :D
Ok, night to me! G'd morning to you! Muahx muahx

SINGAPORE DANCE FIESTA 2011

SINGAPORE DANCE FIESTA 2011

Updated!

Finally, the longest competition that I ever attended "Singapore Dance Fiesta" was over yesterday. It was long, tiring plus exciting competition after all. It took a month for God's sake from 19th February to 19th March with 3 rounds: preliminary, semi- final and final. I bet not only the contestants but also the organizing committee members were tired as well. However, the result pleased all of us and I'm proud to let you know

We have won 1st runner up in Open Dance Category!!!! :D
We brought back home S$1000 cash, 1 set of Xbox Kinect, Media Player and 2 trophies :D
Now talking about money and prizes, everyone is getting jealous with me for sure. But do you know what we have gone through to achieve these? You wouldn't want to try, I bet!

I and my partner, Michael Badong went crazy practiced everyday like two crazy kids. After bloody tiring 8 hours working, I had to rush back for 2 more hours practicing without taking dinner (sometimes) without fail. Body pain, sweat, bruises, weight loss, tiredness...That's all we went through. To the extend, I wanted to quit the competition because of the stress. Gosh! That was crazy, but somehow the strong mind and encouragement made me to continue to fight

Let me take you to look back at our journey from the start:

1. Preliminary round, 20th February at Marina Square.

It was only three days after our registration! We didn't prepare much and mostly relied on the routine that we have done a couple of times ago. That's it! We went to compete as if we went for performance. Saying this I mean, going for competition is very much different from the performances. Competition is where you are under the pressure of winning or loosing whilst performance is where people cherish and admire you. That's how different feelings they are. However, as we both are "over-confident" in ourselves *lolz* that's why we just went to show what we got. And yes, we made it to semi-final round!

Getting my makeup done at home before the competition. Most of the time, my dance competition make up, hair do are done by myself. Not sure whether it's good or bad though, but so far, no bad comment, lolz. Anyone wants to learn? I don't mind sharing tips ^_^

From the start...

Spinning

and spinning

till the end:

Everytime, we perform Showdance Salsa, I realize the audiences get so excited about our stunts, lifting and spinning. Look at my small but super damn strong partner carried me like nobody's business. Believe it or not, he can even lift me up on top with just 1 hand
Watch our dance if the photos can't satisfy you:

2. Semi- final round 5th March 2011 at Power House, St. James Power Station.
We knew that we were in final, hence the semi- final round was just a preview show to the final. Nevertheless, we put effort to give to audiences and judges a new dance: The Rumba. It was a dance of Love, very sad and touching Love. It even took some tears from one of the judges and I just love how the crowd reacted at the end of our dance. Priceless satisfaction and happiness!

Also, going to the semi- final round, I had many friends, supporters came down to watch and support us. Here they are

Streetdirectory gang

Love them all!

With my partner: Michael Badong :) I just love dancing and practicing with him even though sometimes I got annoyed because he talks too much, hahaha....But it was fun and Michael is such a talented dancer.

On the stage

Didn't have many photos during my dance, but I managed to record a very nice video instead.

Watch!

3. Final round 19th March 2011 at Power House
The party and competition got more exciting as there were only a few contestants to the final. My open dance category left with 5 of us and everyone was guessing who would be the winner. I didn't want to guess anything, headache! Just dance our way. Two days before the final, everyone was texting me, wishing me luck and sending many messages on my facebook wall. It made me so nervous when thinking if I couldn't win. Anyway, thank you to everyone, especially who were there with me on Saturday.

See the similar faces? Yes, the Streetdirectory gang came to support me again in the final.

With the boys: Hong, me and Eddie with his funny face, again.

and the girls: Alicia, me and Jenny.

Who is this little angel?
My smallest, cutest, youngest fan, I guess :D.

She was so attracted to my costumes and kept playing with the tassels. She just wanted to see me dancing and wanted to dance with me too. Want to know how she danced?
Here you go!

Lolz! No other word besides cuteness.

Wearing my bangles with happiness and acting cute :D

At last, after 2 hours waiting, the result was finally revealed. I got nervous even more because I wasn't sure if I could win anything. There was a small accident with my costumes and my leg got cramped a little, thus the dance wasn't 100% successful as expected. Michael was even more anxious than I was. However, when the 2 DJs announced, we both were thrilled :D
We made it and we didn't let our friends, fans, supporters disappointed. Presenting to you our trophies ^_^, 1 BIG and 2 small ones :D

Close up of the Crystal trophy. Happy to the max!

The winner took the stage. We look pretty outstanding because of our shiny costumes, lolz.

Last but not least, how could I forget this man

Keef and I.
He is the best supporter of mine. Never fail in attending any event, dancing competition I have.

With Michael, me and Keef.

That was it! It's over and the joy, memories are still in my mind. I still thought that I'm going for a dance practice tomorrow, lolz.

Thank you everyone who cheered me up, encouraged and supported me.
Thank to the organizer for the wonderful event too. Such a great commitment and effort
Also, I must thank to the sponsors of this competition and now we can have Xbox to play and an awesome Media Player with 2TB to store all the files. Love it!

And now, stay tuned for the video of the final dance! I'll post it up soon

UPDATE!!!!
29th March 2011:

There are numbers of photos during my final dance that I managed to get from internet. Pretty cool photos, courtesy of SAFRA team. Love the photos:

 Four

And ten, with 2 emcees from Power 98!

And here is the long awaited video :D
