24th Singapore International Ballroom Dancing Championship

The biggest and most awaited competition of the year was finally over. For God's sake, it took so much of my time, energy and commitment to this special competition. I and my partner had been practicing for 3 hours every day without fail during the last 2 months. I can't explain how exhausted I was, how painful my feet and back were, how stress I felt. Sometimes, I even felt like giving up but many encouragements, supports from friends pushed me further, beyond my limit. And at last, WE MADE IT even though it was our very first competition together in Professional Latin category. I'm happy with what I've done.

I still haven't gotten out of the joy and happiness yet for whatever we have achieved. OMG! It's just so amazing. Gotta share with you some photos during the competition.

Beautifying process. The cool thing was nobody found I'm weird because every other girls did the same thing as I did during the competition. It's fun.

But that's not the end yet. After the victory, we are now starting our journey of 3 hours practicing a day again for the up-coming competitions: Singapore Open Dance Championship which will be held this weekend 6th November 2011, a day after my birthday and Bangkok International Dancesport Championship on 13th November in Bangkok. It's crazy!

Hopefully, it all will be good! I'll update you more once I return from the competitions. Stay tuned and wish me luck :D

Hello, I'm back, people!


This probably the longest time ever since I started blogging and I left my blog "dead" for so long. 


Anyway, I've just finished my 2 months project filming for a local movie series called "Point of Entry". 

 Finished! Finished! Finished! OMG! You can tell how excited I'm feeling right now. It was a fun journey with entire crew and I learnt a lot of things. 


Point of Entry basically is1-hourr action drama about an elite team of Immigration Checkpoint Authority special agents, and their fight to keep Singapore's borders safe from smuggling and illegal immigration by land, sea and air. That also means whatever you are gonna watch on TV are basically real life stories that are collected every day/ month/ year. 


They have finished Season 1 and Season 2 is back due to popular demand. 


And know what? I'm gonna be on the 1st episode of Season 2 (Watch the entire episode here)



I'm glad I did a great job. This was also the first movie I've ever done so far.


Guess what role that is?


A prostitute! Yeah! 


Initially when being invited to play this role, I was like "How come I always end up in such drama roles: ghost, suffering mom and now prostitute?". But then after reading the script, I agreed to take part with the only reason: it's talking about a Vietnamese prostitute whose life suffered so much in Singapore. She was pushed to be a prostitute, transmitted HIV, loved but couldn't love. Literally, I'm speaking on behalf of 1% of pitiful Vietnamese prostitutes in Singapore. The other 99%, I do not want to comment.  


Cut a long story short, there is sweat, tear, blood, anger, love, revenge, pain in her life. I couldn't reveal much the story before the movie is showed. You just gotta watch it and give me some constructive comments if my acting is lousy or good :D

Third outfit: Naive & decent look whenever she came back home with her husband. This was the moment she lived life for herself and enjoyed the love. 



"At the hotel" scene. Can you see the knife Ly was holding? She wanted to kill the customer for pushing her for sex but ended up she didn't. 


That's Ly when she finished her work with "customer". Count the money and go :D

"At the coffee shop" scene. This's the place where Ly worked to make her living.

One more scene with Benjamin shooting at a HDB flat in Serangon. 


Self touch up in between scenes. I remember we shot this scenes from 6pm til 12am midnight which includes some scenes at the HDB flat, some by the road, at the car park etc...


At HDB car park. There were many passers-by stopped and watched us. They even came to ask me, what movie are we shooting, which channel & etc... :D

"In the handphone shop" scene. 
This was the most dramatic scene for me. I had to act like a crazy woman who doesn't need anything in life anymore besides killing herself and the guy (Friven) who gave HIV to her. Ly (my role) hit Friven, tied him up and wanted to die with him. She was fierce, scary yet very emotional and hurt at the same time. The most difficult part for me was when I needed to cry out loud. Can't wait for you to watch it.

 I and Michael who played Friven role. We were connected on Facebook for a long time but have never met in person til that day we did the shoot :D


There are many more photos to share but I guess, I shouldn't reveal much the content of the movie. I'm sure it's very touched real life story. I'm not sure if the Vietnamese girl names Ly is still surviving after her HIV but currently she is in Vietnam and ICA refuses to let her to come back SG regardless the numerous appeals the husband have been trying to do. 


What a pity life!

I can't believe that I haven't been blogging for 2 weeks. This 2 months have been crazy months for me :(. There are so many good and bad things happened at the same time and I was like a roller- coaster with many stuffs. But the latest thing about me that I need to share with you guys is: I'm being an actress *woohoo*. The reason I was away for so long because I was engaged in a movie of Channel5 called "Point of Entry" which will be showed in early December *Yay*, my new dance competitions are coming up in the end of the year too plus my busy work schedules and etc...

Anyway, there are so many things that have changed my life in different ways. I hope all is good. 

I'm about to continue my blog entry for Marie France Bodyline with the 3rd treatment that they did for me somewhere last month. Now, I have finally gained back my shape and figure but I do really miss their treatments. I used to spend 2 hours in MFB office for a good massage once a week everytime I felt tired and getting away from work. :( 

The last few treatments they tailored for me were very good. It all started with a good massage. 
In my 3rd visit, MFB tailored for me 3 different treatments:

First:  Mineral Mask Treatment (MMT). It's actually a full mineral sculpturing treatment using an electro blanket. It really helps to release large amount of stored calories in the body 

First, the therapist applied the mineral mask into my tummy

and then she massaged for 15minutes. 



Leaving the mineral mask to absorb into the body and reinforces the tone, firmness of the tummy area. 


Second: Vara Pulse Treatment: It uses sonic energy to painlessly pulverize stubborn fat and reduce the flabbiness in the arms and tummy area. The treatment breaks down hard to lose fat deposits around the hip, giving me a slimmer, shapelier silouette



The therapist applied some oils onto my tummy and she started massaging. I super love the massage from MFB <3. It could compare to 10 minutes of me having heavy work-out after my dance practice.


There the wrapping time. 

Applying one more layer of mask and waiting for another 20 minutes for it to get dried off. This was when I fell asleep most of the time. :D 

Third: Ultrasound therapy is to further break down stubborn fat deposits




All my tummy and arm fatty are liquefied through a state of the art Ultrasound machine. A body modeling gel that contains plant extracts is used with the Ultrasound machine to tone the skin and reduce the appearance of "one range peel" cellulite". This ultrasound treatment is one their most effective treatments of all. I believe so! 



That's me after the treatment with a much slimmer and flatter tummy. Happy :D

Today's blog post is all about photos of...myself. I kid.
