I'M OFFICIALLY AN AUNTY

I'M OFFICIALLY AN AUNTY

Finally, it's August! A new month again. I have been desperately looking forward to August so much. Reason? July was just suck, to me. So many serious bad lucks happened that month which I couldn't explain why must it all fall in July.

First, grandma passed away! -_-. It was pretty sudden to all of my family members especially my mom even though we were all expecting worst things might happen anytime due to her long-sickness. My grandma was such a brave and strong woman, I'm so inspired by her. Since the Vietnam war til her last day in the world, she was suffered by many wounds that French and American armies gave her. They hung her upside down, tortured her, beat on her head to seek for information about the Vietnamese communist, etc...That lead to her lost memory when she got old. She couldn't remember anyone of us last 2 years :(.

My mom told me, 3 days before she passed away, my mom fed her some foods but she couldn't eat and she kept saying "Please take me to the temple, my mom is waiting for me there. It's time for me to go with her". And then, she passed away as if she fell into a peaceful sleep. No pain, no tear, no regret!

When I first heard the news from mom on Friday, I was in the meeting with my client and immediately I lost my words. I didn't know where was I in the conversation, what was I supposed to say. Nevertheless, I managed to finish all the works and booked a flight to fly back the next morning. In my mind that time, all I wanted to do is to go back home, look at grandma one last time and give my mom some supports. I could understand how tragically painful she felt. And I did what I was supposed to do.

Second, my work was really bad. It's just bad and unlucky for no reason, wtf. Kinda testing my patience and temper. Anyway, let not talk about the bad stuffs here. It's so depressing!

I want to share with you a good thing I have. There is an idiom "Every cloud has a silver lining" and it truly is. 3 days before my grandma passed away, my nephew was born

Thank to God and whoever blessed him, he was 3.8kg, super cute to the max. Here he is, adorably sleeping!

Heart shaped lips, long eyes, button nose. Confirm later will be very handsome, lady-killer and talkative.

Baby has nothing to do besides sleeping so he sleeps like 20/ 24 hours i think.

Look at the cute chin, lolz

Long toes and very long finger nails too. My dad said when he grows up, he probably will wear shoes size 41 at least :D

I love looking at him, taking photo of him with many different cute facial expressions.

Angry face. I think he wants to shit or eat, lolz. Else, he will not act like that.

Sleeping and smiling at the same time. Must be dreaming something

Yawning face! Hahahaha, super damn cute! Look at those lips, I want to bite :D

Ok, let aunt carry you! I need to practice first in case I might have one in future, I'll probably not know how to take care, lolz....I find it's quite hard to carry a one week old baby because their bone and everything is still very soft. I'm scared I might turn his neck to the left or right permanently by accident, lolz....But my nephew is so damn good boy, he didn't cry when I carried him around. He just opened the eyes to look at me. Wow, heart melted.

But i think he got annoyed by me because every time I hugged him, I would kiss him non-stop to his chubby checks :D

C'mon baby, let aunt give you a kiss!
Now, camwhoring time.

1

2.
I said "Baby, act cute" and coincidentally, I caught his mouth opened, lolz

3. Kiss

4. And kiss
Now only I understand why all the parents like to show their baby's photos so much. I found it's pretty annoying at first. "C'mon, one is enough. I knew how your son/ daughter looks like". But now, I gotta shut up. I can't stop posting my nephew pics online to show to the world, oopss!
And by the way, his name is Danny Bui Dai Quang which means a smart, handsome and kind-hearted man. I hope he will be, in the future!

To the best mom on earth

To the best mom on earth

Hi dolls,

I'm back again after a long holiday! Guess where I went? Vietnam again, lolz....

The photos about my Chinese new year trip in Vietnam I still haven't had time to upload yet, now here comes another one. There are so many places I haven't explored yet in Vietnam and I want to visit to all places. And this was the most ad-hoc trip ever because I didn't plan for it at all. I had 4 days holiday last week and I felt like I need a break from everything: work, relationship, busy life, etc...and I must find a place where I can de-stress myself. After thinking about many options: Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia....I decided to go to Vietnam in the end. And hell ya, I was so damn lucky to book the flight ticket at only S$451 net. Booking on Wednesday, flying off on Friday, lolz...Did I ever tell you that I'm always the "last minute" person? Yes I am! Sorry, can't help!

Back to the main topic, I wanted to write this entry to dedicate to the best mommy in the world (to me) since Mother's Day is just around the corner. Just a short one!

Introducing to you, my cute, sweet mommy:

She is not staying with me now, she is about 2196km away from me and all I can do is to celebrate with her over the phone or through my blog only -_-

Last year, I bought some gifts for her. 2 years ago, I wrote a story about her life on my blog. This year, not decided yet.

She is my mom but also like my best friend, my sister. I can talk to her everything: quarreling with boyfriend, having bad day at work, late period, feeling nervous, excited, worry, how many times I have sex in a week bla bla bla...She just listens, laughs, worries, scolds and advises me. Most importantly, she is always making me laugh when I'm down. She protects me and my brother from anyone who wants to harm us.

I'm so proud of my mom. I bring many friends back home and all of them love her because they find she is sweet, friendly and so cute, lolz...

This is what I meant "CUTE"!

Trying to strike a pose for me to take picture. I don't know where the hell she gets this pose from but everytime she does it, I and my dad just couldn't stop laughing.

Lynn (my new BFF) and my mom! She was the one started this pose first and asked Lynn to follow.

Lynn just met my mom for 1 day only. They look like mother- daughter while I'm like a strange photographer on the street who wants to take their photo for $5 fee.

No other word besides sweetness ~

If I had 1 wish, I just wish she and my dad could stay young forever with me. It's just so painful to think she is getting older and older when time flies. My heart breaks every time I know that she is sick :(
Wish you will be happy every day, Mom! You know, I love you always!

Have you done anything to show your Love to your mom yet? Do it now! Without her, you wouldn't have chance to see the world, to grow up, to be successful like you are today. Treat your mom like how you want your children treat you in return. Just get your ass up and do something even small and simple to her. At the end, your thought that counts

And lastly, say "Happy Mother's Day" !!!

My most favorite wedding on earth!

My most favorite wedding on earth!

Whose else but my dearest cheeky funny brother's one??????

OMG I'm just so happy for him. Finally somebody agreed to marry him, lolz. I, dad and mom have been so worried about he might be single for long time and no one wants to get married with him because his characters, just like rock and roll, funny and forever-immature as what Daddy always annoyingly complains.

Now, everyone 's tension was released. I took 5 days annual leave to fly back Vietnam to attend his wedding and also rewarded myself by a short trip back home. It was so good even though there weren't many night activities there as compares to Singapore and I couldn't visit the Ha Long Bay as planned.

All of my time was packed by the wedding preparation, seeing the relatives and spending sometimes with family. Nevertheless, I was really happy. Loads of cam-whore pics but I might be just putting few only as I didn't have time to photoshop them all yet. First photo to kick start the journey: breakfast with momo

I love taking photo with her.

She is always acting cute when she is with me, I can't stop myself from hugging and kissing on her cheeks. The funny thing is she likes cam-whore like I do, lolz....
*******************

That was the first morning in Vietnam. After that we went back home to prepare for the lunch for my family and relatives. You guess how many of them came? Tell me about it, i lost count and heard from mom and daddy, there was almost 100 of them from dad and mom's side.

God Good, I wanted to faint when i see so many people in my house and I couldn't remember all of my relatives -_-. To be honest, I don't like when my house is so crowded, just not used to it at all. Some aunties, uncles asked me "Do you still remember me"- "Oh yes, I remember". They continued "So what is my name"- "Errrhhhh, *silly face* am sorry I can't recall".

Sounds so stupid right? But it's real I swear. What a shame that I couldn't recall my relatives' names. Anyway, thanks God that everyone was busy with the wedding and I had an excuse to run here and there so I was escaped. A night before the actual wedding which is called "Bachelor party" for my bro, we really had a blast and I was so happy to see my babe enjoy the crowd and enjoyed himself. I felt bad coz letting him to stay inside the room for almost a 2 days -_-. We had a good time "bottom up" drinking and K-singing together.

They were challenging my boyfriend to drink. At the end, he challenged them back by eating chilly and drinking at the same time.

Drink again at KTV. Look at my bro's mouth (the one with the black short), lolz

The group was staying up until 2am and amazingly we all could wake up at 7am next day for my brother's big day. He woke up at 4am himself. Next morning, that was the most exciting thing i wanted to do in the weeding: accompanying my brother to pick up the bride :D So fun!

Camwhoring on the way to the bride's house. It was hot and sunny day, yet i was wearing RED

The wedding procedures in Vietnam are pretty simple. The groom just needs to go to the bride's house, picks her up. Both will have to pray, get some gifts from the bride's relatives, serve the bride's parents or grandparents tea and that's it. Leaving the bride's place after half an hour, we went back to my house where my mom was waiting for her daughter-in- law to come in her room to greet her.

My brother looked so tensed so I asked him to smile abit and this was what he did.

Reached home. We head to the hotel thereafter for the weeding lunch, I coincidentally became a photographer of the wedding from the start til the end and poor me, I didn't have time or chance to eat anything at all. Show you some photos i took, quite nice ehhh :D

Wedding cake!

I love this pic, so artistically taken :D

My sis-in-law who is same age with me

Not sure where Daddy went, he must be busy entertaining his friends that's why i missed out in this family photo

I borrowed the wedding bouquet for camwhoring purpose :D
Post- weeding:
Family time. We went to the beach for a seafood dinner and enjoyed the sea view. The beach wasn't so fantastic because it was low season hence there was no tourist at all but who cared? I just wanted to satisfy my seafood craving.

Seafood dinner by the beach is always the best
My most favorite facial expression, lolz

I'm so happy that my house now have one more person. She can help me to take care of mom and dad while I'm not there with them.

She can cook, take care of the house and take care of my brother too. But again, I'm feeling abit pressure now because after my brother, it will be ME to be in their worry list if i don't get married in next 2 years. *Sigh* I hate to think of that because I don't want to be urged in doing something. Also, obviously I can't urge my boyfriend to marry me, it just sounds so desperate.

Nah, better not think of that too much. Thing will happen when the time is right! Ok Can't imagine that i'm alone while writing this blog entry, boyfriend is busy at the bar to take care of the staffs. *Yuck*. Good night people!

MOM AND DAD IN MALAYSIA

MOM AND DAD IN MALAYSIA

Some of you may know, my parents came to Malaysia to visit me a week ago, they were back Hanoi safely, by the way! On the they went back, there was a big storm in Hanoi. They transited in Ho Chi Minh first before heading to Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi). Flying from 10am, but until 10pm only they reached home! What a long and tiring flight! During their five day and four night trip here, I managed to stay with them two nights at the Hotel Radius International. The hotel is big but seems not many people know about it. It locates in Jln Changkat, Bukit Bintang. You can go and find out yourself if one day you happen to have a  friend staying there. It is quite crowded and happening area. Here you see! The big view!
And the room we stayed I vote for this hotel 3/5 only even though they said this is five stars hotel.
The first night 20th Sept, my friend sent me to the hotel. I planned to have a family dinner with them but Mom was busy with her company dinner and meeting, only Dad decided not to join to hang out with me. Dad only loves to stay with me every time he comes here, so sweet of him. Then my friend- Alvin brought us to have seafood dinner. A BIG hug and big Thank you.
Here are some photos while my parents were in Malaysia

Our happy family.
On the second day, I only manage to stay with them in the morning, joined them for their company city- tour in KL. We've been to few places: Tien Hou temple, Royal Palace, Independent Square,etc... I bet some local people have never stepped into those places. Nothing much to see, only for foreigners come to take photos. I only like to go to Tien Hou temple, the rest, not so interesting. The weather was sunny and hot, it made me headache after that, felt like sick. But after went to Tien Hou temple, the headache was gone. How strange!
While Mom was busy praying...
I and Dad were sitting outside to chit chat and relax. The view from this temple is very nice. Do I look like my dad?
Or My Mom more???
After all these tours, I rushed back to the studio to teach at 3.30pm until 6pm. Shaw- my friend, sent me to the hotel again. I owed this guy a lot for his kind helps :) Thanks, Shaw! At night time, I brought my parents to shopping in Sungei Wang. Afer a year plus in working, this is the first time that I could bring them to shop, buy them things that they want. I was so happy to see my mom go to all the shops and happily pick some clothes and shoes. She got these: 1. Wallet (I couldn't recall the brand)~ RM159 2. Shoes: RM59 3. Clothes- RM120 4. Children toys for my nephews: RM100 5. Black crystal jewelry: RM259 Am I a good daughter?. Not bought any for Dad yet because he couldn't find what he want :(. Perhaps, buying for him on his coming birthday then. Give him a kiss first! I like to kiss on his cheeks whenever I can ^_^
Cam-whoring before we left the Independent Square.Last pic!
