CHANGES

CHANGES

As promised to you guys earlier when I was in Vietnam, I'll update you my latest image. I told you that I'd cut my hair and had a new hairstyle. It cost me RM17x including perm, treatment, color, cut. It was pretty cheap compared to the service in Malaysia. Well, some said I look older, some commented I look younger. I don't know whether they were telling me a lie or the truth. But anyway, a new hairstyle made me feel much better. Crystal today is so much different that my colleagues also couldn't reckon me when I came to office.

I hope you guys are not too shocked when you are seeing this :D.

Don't look at the 2 glasses of beer, OK? It's not mine. :D Someone will think "I'm the type of alcoholic and naughty type".

Photos were taken when I went to the BamBoo pub on last Saturday 23th with my dance students and coincidentally it was one of my student's bday too. So we went there and had fun, drank, danced and wished her "Happy birthday". I didn't get drunk that night, just drank enough to join them until 2am then we went back home. The feeling was pretty good and everyone was happy.

This was the Crystal before she went back to Vietnam.

and this was the Crystal after she left Vietnam

FIRST TIME IN PENANG

FIRST TIME IN PENANG

As promised, I'm here after Penang trip.
This was not the first time I've been to Penang. The hotel we stayed was Hotel G Penang, a perfect location with great service.

We went to the park after checking in

and we went to a famous temple.

And back to the sea again:

So basically, the first trip we already went: "up to the mountain, down the sea, back to nature". I was happy! This time, I joined the boyfriend's and his sisters to attend a Gala dinner in a celebration 32nd National convention of Apex clubs of Malaysia.

Few random photos in the room before going to the dinner.

That was it.

Till next time, Penang!

2007 NEW YEAR IN KUANTAN

2007 NEW YEAR IN KUANTAN

I felt so lazy. I opened my blog a few times, but didn't feel like writing a new post at all. It seems all of my friends are busy with their New Year celebrations, and I'm alone in my room. I miss my family. I couldn't go home to celebrate Chinese New Year with the family this year because I couldn't afford a flight ticket. I didn't want to ask my parents for money as I knew, they already had so many things to buy for the house during the New Year already.

I spent 1 week at my friend's house in Kuantan to celebrate Chinese New Year with her and her family. It was a great time for me as I felt like staying in my own house. Everyone in the family was so friendly that made me feel really comfortable. I went to visit their relatives, helped them organise a BBQ party, we went to the beach near their house and went to the temple to pray for luck.

Especially, I had a chance to meet up a few Vietnamese girls who got married here with Malaysian men. They are really happy. This New Year, I received a few ang pows (lucky money) from some people that I didn't know them before at all. What a good luck to start a new year! And here are some photos that I want to share with u on that day I went to the beach and temple with my friend's family.

Sometimes, I realise happiness comes from small simple things. What about your New Year celebration, did you have a good one?
