SAMSUNG FASHION STEPS OUT 2013

Last night, Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013 (FSO2013) had one-night-only "traffic-stopping" fashion show in the middle of Orchard Road with 170 models strutting the freshest Spring/ Summer looks as well as Fall/ Winter styles from international and local fashion designers including: Fausto Puglisi, Victoria by Victoria Beckham, Coach, J.Press, Robinsons, Marks & Spencer, Adolfo Dominguez, Maria Grachvogel and Blugirl. 

I was honored to be invited by Samsung as one of the media partners to witness Orchard Road turned into a fashion runway with many beautiful colors, styles and models. Thank you very much Samsung & Nicholas from Edelman for the invitation. 

In case you missed the event, here are some photos that I and my PA- Carmen took last night. Please enjoy! :D

I arrived early at 6.30pm for the Champagne Sundowner at ION with VIP Guests before the fashion show started at 8pm. 

No event will be complete without a red-carpet moment :D

Model & host Junita Simon opened the Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013- Orchard Fashion Runway in a very cute FSO T-shirt and blue Camo skirt accompanied by a group of hot topless hunks.

This collection was to celebrate the launch of the Samsung GALAXY S4 with LTE, these devices were featured alongside the models’ overall ensemble for a creative blend of fashion and technology, to symbolise how the smartphone is the perfect companion to life’s special moments.

That was what Orchard Fashion Show all about. It was so overwhelming, successful and amazing.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick hello from me and I hope you've had a great start to the week so far.


I wore this cute polka dot outfit a week ago when I was running in between meetings. It was a hot and sunny day so I thought chiffon blouse would be a great idea in such crazy weather. I and Alicia (my current favorite photographer :D) while waiting for a taxi, we managed to snap some quick shots. 

Polka dot is such a fun, classic and versatile statement piece that will look good on everyone. If you follow my fashion journey here long enough, you've probably seen I rocked this trend few times here and here. 


 When it comes to color pairing for black and white polka dot, there are few colors that I'm always going back to. One of them is black polka dot on  white blouse with red pants/ skirt or accessories. I can say this is the MOST PREFERRED style by many celebrities, fashionistas and ME :D !

and the favorite arm candy. I wear some of these bracelets most of the time. :D

It's easy to wear, fun, classic, feminine (Yes, that's my style code) and it works well on most of us (ladies). Last week was such a hectic and crazy week for me with lot of works and events. One of the exciting events I was invited to attend by OmySG was Levi's 501 Interpretation. 

I'm sure you probably know or hear about Levi's but not many of you know the history of this brand. Let me share with you:

 There was a huge crowd in ION Orchard that day. They came to watch and to support their favorite celebrities. 

Ivy Tan from  YESS 933FM was the emcee that day. 


 Event started with our local celebrities short catwalk and introduction showing their way of wearing Levi's outfits. 

Each of them had their own uniqueness in wearing their given outfit. While Ya Hui's outfit was fun and funky, Felicia's one was sexy and feminine and Tosh's look was cool and rocky (went well with his hairstyle), Ian's outfit seemed to be more casual and neat. 
After introduction, all celebrities were invited to join some games using Levi's apparels. 

Identifying different parts on Levi's jeans seemed not tough enough to challenge Felicia, she & her luckiest fan won the first game. 

At second games, each celebrity was asked to use Levi's apparels to style 8 Days Shirtless guy, whose model had the highest vote would win the games.

Last week, I was invited to attend a very special event to celebrate the exclusive launch of Royal Dragon Vodka- Superior Vodka from Russia in Singapore.

When I arrived at the event, I was so attracted by the unique bottle held by the model when we were taking some photos at the entrance.

Isn't it beautiful? You can even see the 23 carat gold leaves underneath the bottle.

Talking about the taste, I had 3 glasses of vodka with orange that night. It was so smooth that I didn't feel like I was drinking vodka at all. I mean, I've been trying so many different types of vodkas, some claimed to be the best one, but the smoothness of those vodkas is nowhere near to the standard of Royal Dragon Vodka. I'm not paid to say this so please trust me, you HAVE TO try once for yourself and you'll know that I'm right. 

The launch was held successfully at Bacchanalia- a hottest and latest restaurant in town. I've never been there before (didn't even know about this restaurant) even though I passed by their place many time.
