MY FAVORITE ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC

MY FAVORITE ACUPUNCTURE CLINIC

Advertorial

Ever tried any acupuncture treatment in Singapore?
There are tons in Singapore, which one I should go?
Where is the best acupuncture clinic in Singapore? Is it safe? Is it painful? How much does it cost?
And lastly, Is it effective?

Seriously, I never give a stare at any acupuncture clinic at all. Neither in Vietnam, Malaysia or Singapore -_-.

You can say I'm coward but I'm scared of the pain. What's so wrong with that?

I had phobia when I was bitten by a big dog when i was at 15 years old (his height was up to my waist for your info) and I gotta go for a vaccine once every week for a  month or two without fail. Every vaccine day was hell to me because I was freaked out when i saw that long needle pricked into my body *Ouch*. And that when I hated doctors too.

Since then, I have been being so scared of acupuncture because It's the treatment done by the stupid needles and I thought it must be very painful too.

Cut the long story short, I meant I have never gone to any acupuncture clinic for the past 27 years.

Only after I hurt my arm during the badminton games, it was painful for the whole week and every morning I woke up, pain. Carry heavy thing like a laptop bag! Pain!. Raise the arm upward, pain! I thought my arm was useless already -_-.

Coincidentally, I went to see my client on Tuesday last two weeks and he owns a acupuncture clinic called.

Never had any intention to go for acupuncture either, but I talked to him about my arm pain after we finished talking about the business, he then offered me one session to cure the pain. Swear to God, I didnt know why at that point of time, I had enough courage to try out the first time acupuncture. I trusted him as he said "No, it's not painful at all". Ok! Fine!

Here is my client, Mr. Kuo getting prepare for all the necessary stuffs.

Those needles were stung into my body. Ewww*

There, he was about to start...

I couldn't take a clearer photo because I couldn't move.

After approximately 15 minutes, all was done and the pain was even much more until i barely stood up. Thank God, I just had to stay in place for about 20 minutes, after that he withdrew all the needles out and told me. "It's done!". At that point, I felt I was alive again!

It wasn't so quickly effective that my arm could move easily again at that time but I loved the feeling of the needle stung into the right painful part. The pain kills the pain, that's kinda feeling :D

Two weeks later which is now, i only have time to write a blog about his clinic. Mr Kuo must be wondering, "when the hell this girl is going to write something up since I offered her free service", lolz....*I'm just kidding.

Seriously, this is the statement I have to make! The next day after my acupuncture treatment, the pain was just completely GONE like a magic! :-O
I'm not joking neither giving extra words because he sponsored me the service. No No No! I even told my boyfriend about it. It was just so amazing! I kept asking myself, how could all the needles do that work? I dont even need to apply any medicine, cream. Nothing!

For that reason, I think I need to shout out to his clinic to public. Check it out!

Mr. KUO was rearranging the pillow, bed sheet as one patient had just left.

A small clinic but very clean and tidy! I like :)

Many tokens, trophies, certificates he achieved a long the way. Fyi, he is also the director of Singapore Chinese Acupuncture Research Intuition. Got name and title ok!

Chinese medicine for those who need

Feng shui kitty welcomes you at the entrance! I put the fake eye-lashes for her. Doesn't she look much prettier now?

Reception area!

Last but not least, the man who runs the clinic! Mr. Kuo T. H or you can call him Thomas. He is very nice, kind-hearted person, you'll feel warm when talking to him, he looks like my grandfather :)

There are some questions you might want to ask:
- How much does it cost?
Around S$60/ acupuncture treatment. Am not sure if it includes the medicine. You might have to ring him and ask. Tel: 6227 1303. And oh, don't forget to mention to "CRYSTAL PHUONG" when you see him, he'll treat my blog readers as special as how he treated me. :)

- Where is the clinic located?
It's next to Novena Medical Center, Square 2 #03-47, 10 Sinaran drive, Not difficult to find his clinic at all.

- Does he has website?
Nope, currently he doesn't have any website. But he has put up his clinic profile on Streetdirectory.com. Click HERE!

That's all for now! Any question, you feel free to drop me a comment here!

WONDERFUL 26TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

WONDERFUL 26TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

Sorry for the late update!

Been busy with many works after the parties and also I had to wait for the photos from my photographer to get all these beautiful photos below. Now they all are here with me.

First of all, thank you everyone for coming down and celebrating with me on my birthday. I had three night birthday celebrations (from Thurs night to Saturday night) with many friends that were totally out of my expectation. Super duper happy! ^_^

Thank for all the happy birthday messages, my Facebook wall and inbox were flooded, but it's alright! Acceptable :D
Thank you, Se7en1nch bar for holding my actual birthday party and allowing me to have my dance performances on my birthday.

Thank you, Dan Yeo- a professional photographer who took many lovely photos of my party. You guys will love these photos he took. Anyone who wishes to engage Dan's services, check out his own White Room Studio website

And last but not least, special thanks to Keef- my boyfriend for many presents he bought, two candlelight dinners, the earliest birthday wishes at 12.00am sharp on 5th, and before I even opened up my eyes the next morning. How sweet!

Ok, now...
Photos!!!!!!!

Posing at Se7en1nch bar entrance before the party started.
It was raining on 6th Nov (Saturday), and I was so worried that not many people would come. But it wasn't like what I was afraid!

With my BFF- Ida. Proud to be her image consultant. Does she look hot in this type of dressing?

The drink of the night! Absintheeeeee!
From left: Keef, me, Fung and Kelly.

We drank four to five shots of black absinthe that has 85% alcohol. Tell me about it!!! It's so crazy yet so fun.

Bottom-up!

Most of us who drank absinthe got pretty tipsy that night except for Fung, who was totally knocked out.
Apart from drinking, some friends of mine were looking forward to my dance performances that night too. It was also the anniversary of my ten years dancing career.

Along ten year dancing, I've achieved numbers of awards, titles, certificates but somehow, I still feel there is something missing. There is something I still haven't achieved yet, and I've been dreaming about it since I started competing til now. I wanted to have a good permanent partner to go for as many international competitions as possible. We might win; we might loose, but the satisfaction is most enjoyable and beautiful feeling ever.

This year, I got a new dance partner, a real professional one. We competed, performed and practiced almost every week when he was in town, and I felt so alive. But, we still couldn't compete and practice as much as I wanted because my partner needs to travel in and out Singapore every month. So, a dream is still a dream. *sigh*

Anyway...

Back to the birthday party! I decided to throw a mini live show to celebrate my birthday; I performed solo on the stage. Since Se7en1nch is the rock bar, hence I danced to the rock music with a Latin technique and moves, it's kind of cool and unique indeed. No video recorded; there are only photos!

First outfit!

Second

was dancing to a Rumba song "Drift Away".

Third outfit that I changed it on the stage itself :D

Fourth and also the last outfit I wore

one of my most favorite photo that Dan also chose it as the CD cover.

Regardless his super busy schedule, he still spent sometimes to make this CD for me which I felt so touched. OMG! Why am I so lucky to have so many good friends around? :D

Look at the CD that Dan passed to me :D
Random photos:

I and Debbie were acting cute!

My birthday candle light dinner at East Coast. Keef brought me to eat some western food and some special seafoods which are all my favorite. White wine, romantic music and only two of us that time, what could I ask for more? Not to mention the foods are so fresh and yummy

Look at the Canadian oyster, *nom nom* I can never say No to it.

Second birthday dinner at Japanese Restaurant :D

Birthday cake, bought by my company :)

Last but not least, the man at the backstage :)

I think, this entry is pretty long enough to tell how happy I was on my birthday. I looked back my previous 26 birthday celebrations, and I must say: My 26th birthday party was by far THE BEST!
Thank you, everyone who loves me, has been supporting me and believing in me. You know, I love you all too.

My most favorite wedding on earth!

My most favorite wedding on earth!

Whose else but my dearest cheeky funny brother's one??????

OMG I'm just so happy for him. Finally somebody agreed to marry him, lolz. I, dad and mom have been so worried about he might be single for long time and no one wants to get married with him because his characters, just like rock and roll, funny and forever-immature as what Daddy always annoyingly complains.

Now, everyone 's tension was released. I took 5 days annual leave to fly back Vietnam to attend his wedding and also rewarded myself by a short trip back home. It was so good even though there weren't many night activities there as compares to Singapore and I couldn't visit the Ha Long Bay as planned.

All of my time was packed by the wedding preparation, seeing the relatives and spending sometimes with family. Nevertheless, I was really happy. Loads of cam-whore pics but I might be just putting few only as I didn't have time to photoshop them all yet. First photo to kick start the journey: breakfast with momo

I love taking photo with her.

She is always acting cute when she is with me, I can't stop myself from hugging and kissing on her cheeks. The funny thing is she likes cam-whore like I do, lolz....
*******************

That was the first morning in Vietnam. After that we went back home to prepare for the lunch for my family and relatives. You guess how many of them came? Tell me about it, i lost count and heard from mom and daddy, there was almost 100 of them from dad and mom's side.

God Good, I wanted to faint when i see so many people in my house and I couldn't remember all of my relatives -_-. To be honest, I don't like when my house is so crowded, just not used to it at all. Some aunties, uncles asked me "Do you still remember me"- "Oh yes, I remember". They continued "So what is my name"- "Errrhhhh, *silly face* am sorry I can't recall".

Sounds so stupid right? But it's real I swear. What a shame that I couldn't recall my relatives' names. Anyway, thanks God that everyone was busy with the wedding and I had an excuse to run here and there so I was escaped. A night before the actual wedding which is called "Bachelor party" for my bro, we really had a blast and I was so happy to see my babe enjoy the crowd and enjoyed himself. I felt bad coz letting him to stay inside the room for almost a 2 days -_-. We had a good time "bottom up" drinking and K-singing together.

They were challenging my boyfriend to drink. At the end, he challenged them back by eating chilly and drinking at the same time.

Drink again at KTV. Look at my bro's mouth (the one with the black short), lolz

The group was staying up until 2am and amazingly we all could wake up at 7am next day for my brother's big day. He woke up at 4am himself. Next morning, that was the most exciting thing i wanted to do in the weeding: accompanying my brother to pick up the bride :D So fun!

Camwhoring on the way to the bride's house. It was hot and sunny day, yet i was wearing RED

The wedding procedures in Vietnam are pretty simple. The groom just needs to go to the bride's house, picks her up. Both will have to pray, get some gifts from the bride's relatives, serve the bride's parents or grandparents tea and that's it. Leaving the bride's place after half an hour, we went back to my house where my mom was waiting for her daughter-in- law to come in her room to greet her.

My brother looked so tensed so I asked him to smile abit and this was what he did.

Reached home. We head to the hotel thereafter for the weeding lunch, I coincidentally became a photographer of the wedding from the start til the end and poor me, I didn't have time or chance to eat anything at all. Show you some photos i took, quite nice ehhh :D

Wedding cake!

I love this pic, so artistically taken :D

My sis-in-law who is same age with me

Not sure where Daddy went, he must be busy entertaining his friends that's why i missed out in this family photo

I borrowed the wedding bouquet for camwhoring purpose :D
Post- weeding:
Family time. We went to the beach for a seafood dinner and enjoyed the sea view. The beach wasn't so fantastic because it was low season hence there was no tourist at all but who cared? I just wanted to satisfy my seafood craving.

Seafood dinner by the beach is always the best
My most favorite facial expression, lolz

I'm so happy that my house now have one more person. She can help me to take care of mom and dad while I'm not there with them.

She can cook, take care of the house and take care of my brother too. But again, I'm feeling abit pressure now because after my brother, it will be ME to be in their worry list if i don't get married in next 2 years. *Sigh* I hate to think of that because I don't want to be urged in doing something. Also, obviously I can't urge my boyfriend to marry me, it just sounds so desperate.

Nah, better not think of that too much. Thing will happen when the time is right! Ok Can't imagine that i'm alone while writing this blog entry, boyfriend is busy at the bar to take care of the staffs. *Yuck*. Good night people!
